El Clasico:Can Barcelona Edge Real Madrid On Saturday 24th October?

Barcelona come into this fixture on the back of a 5-1 win in the Champions League Group stage fixture against Ferencvaros during the week. Barcelona suffered a defeat in their last La Liga outing against Getafe last weekend with Getafe scoring a late goal to secure the maximum 3 points at home.

Barcelona are sitting 10th with 7 points in La Liga table with a game to spare after winning Villarreal 4-0, 3-0 away win against Celta Vigo and were held to a 1-1 draw by Sevilla at the Camp Nou.

Real Madrid came into the El Clasico on the back of 2 straight defeats. They lost 1-0 at Home against Cadiz in a shocking result on matchday 5 and followed with another shock, this time 3-2 against Shakhtar Donetsk at home in the Champons League Group fixture.

Real Madrid took 4 points from possible 6 points last season against Barcelona after a 0-0 draw at Camp Nou and a 2-0 win at home against Barcelona. They are undefeated in their last 8 away La Liga games in a row.

Barcelona are still without their first choice goalkeeper Andre-Marc Ter Stegen, which means Neto Murara will remain in the goal post. Samuel Umtiti is ruled out with a knee injury, while Jordi Alba could return to the team in time to make the bench.

Real Madrid are without Eden Hazard who is still ruled out, Dani Carvajal and Diaz. Sergio Ramos could miss the game as well.

PREDICTION: BOTH TEAMS TO SCORE AND OVER 2.5 MATCH GOALS.
