CAF Qualifier: Ghana To Beat Sudan And Keep A Clean Sheet When They Clash On Thursday 12th.



Ghana secured a 2-0 win at home to South Africa and followed it up with a 1-0 away at Sao Tome in their opening game in Group C qualifier. They played friendlies with likes of Mali which saw them lose 3-0 and another one against Qatar which they won 5-1.




Ghana are unbeaten in their last seven matches against Sudan, picking up six wins and one draw since 2001. Their last meeting was in the World Cup qualifier back in  2013, which Ghana won 3-1. Ghana are aiming for a fourth straight win against Sudan.




Sudan got their qualifying process off to the perfect start, securing a 4-0 home win over Sao Tome in Group C. They suffered a 1-0 defeat away at South Africa and their last time out ended in a 1-1 with Togo in October friendly and lost their other friendly that month by 3-0 against Tunisia.




Sudan have only won one of the last six matches in all competitions, a 1-0 victory away at Eriterea. Four of Sudan's last six outings have produced under 2.5 match goals and the visitors have only failed to score in two of their last six international matches.
